SummerSlam 2016: John Cena, Jon Stewart's Return and More Things to Get Excited for This Year

With matches featuring some

of the biggest WWE Superstars—Randy Orton, Brock Lesner, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Dolph Ziggler and, oh, some guy named John Cena—make sure to buckle up in preparation for lots of explosive action, crazy surprises and star power!

Before the competition and celebrations get started, here are the things we're most excited for at SummerSlam 2016!

1. Attitude Adjustment: John Cena, who will star in Total Bellas this fall, will be one of the biggest highlights of the night come SummerSlam 2016. Cena will take on "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles to determine if the 15-time World Champion and Cenation leader still has what it takes to hold onto the title of "The Face That Runs This Place" at SmackDown Live. There's a longstanding rivalry between these two competitors, so it will be a battle of wills and egos. But it's a safe bet Styles will have to watch out for Cena's "Attitude Adjustment."

2. The Ravishing Russian: When Rusev faces off against Roman Reigns for the United States Championship, his new bride Lana will be right by side at ringside. The new Total Divas cast member will definitely be cheering harder than anyone for her man to defeat Reigns, especially after he crashed their post-wedding celebration on Monday Night Rawand pushed her into her own cake! This Ravishing Russian will want revenge!

3. Power Couple: Before you catch them on this fall's brand-new season of Total Divas,The Miz and his wife Maryse will be heating up SummerSlam 2016 during his match against Apollo Crews to defend his Intercontinental Championship title. With Maryse always ready to stir up trouble to give her husband an advantage, the up-and-comer Crews will have his hands full with this golden couple who will do whatever it takes to be victorious.

4. Hollywood Takeover: After hosting the SummerSlam 2015 event, Jon Stewart will return to the center ring again at SummerSlam 2016 as a special guest,Monday Night Raw General Manager Mick Foley announced. Although it's still unclear what his role will be this time around, Stewart might want to avoid Cena after his meddling caused the WWE Superstar to lose last year's U.S. Championship match againstSeth Rollins.

Also, expect SummerSlam 2016 to be a dazzling, star-studded event with various celebrities arriving in Brooklyn to take in the action. Past attendees have included Maria Menounos, Freddie Prinze Jr., Gabrielle Union and Kellan Lutz.
